Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan, formerly known as Emmanuel School of Religion, is a distinguished graduate theological seminary affiliated with Milligan University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Established in 1965, the seminary is dedicated to preparing men and women for effective ministry in various areas, including worship, preaching, pastoral care, Christian education, evangelism, cross-cultural missions, chaplaincy, and teaching. The seminary offers accredited programs such as the Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.), Master of Arts in Christian Ministries (M.A.C.M.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.).
Our support for Emmanuel Christian Seminary plays a vital role in sustaining its mission to equip future leaders with a robust theological education. When we gather, something powerful happens: faith grows, hope rises, and hearts find home. You matter here, and you make us better.
"`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.` This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.`"
This isn’t a promise that God hands us everything we wish for. It’s a promise that as we delight in Him, He transforms our hearts so that what we long for is shaped by His love, His wisdom, and His purpose.
Peace isn’t found in the absence of storms, it’s found in the nearness of your Savior. The same God who spoke to the sea can speak stillness to your soul.
More than just a day of green and celebration, today reminds us of the bold faith of St. Patrick, a man who returned to the land of his captivity to share the message of Christ.
When you hand your fears to God, He gives you something better than control, He gives you peace. You can’t add hours to your life through worry, but you can add peace to your hours through trust.

Every sunrise is a reminder: today is a gift from God. No matter what the day holds, His goodness remains the same.

What we see might be scary, but we know that even in the darkest place, God is with us. We can trust in His protection.
