As we study Ephesians, we’ll learn how our identity, relationships, mission, and hope are transformed when we begin living from heaven’s perspective instead of earth’s. Mission Spotlight
Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan, formerly known as Emmanuel School of Religion, is a distinguished graduate theological seminary affiliated with Milligan University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Established in 1965, the seminary is dedicated to preparing men and women for effective ministry in various areas, including worship, preaching, pastoral care, Christian education, evangelism, cross-cultural missions, chaplaincy, and teaching. The seminary offers accredited programs such as the Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.), Master of Arts in Christian Ministries (M.A.C.M.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.).
Our support for Emmanuel Christian Seminary plays a vital role in sustaining its mission to equip future leaders with a robust theological education. Our culture is consumed with more, better, faster...but that exhausts us. It leaves us burnt out. We need to learn how to rest.
Get your mind right. Guard your heart. Fix your hope. Not on this world, but on Jesus.
Jesus said the evidence of a disciple isn’t perfection, it’s our fruit. Not just what we say, but how we live.
Where God`s love is, fear loses its power.
Some of the most powerful prayers ever prayed were barely coherent. God doesn`t grade your grammar, or your theology. He just wants to hear from you.
None of them had perfect circumstances. All of them chose worship anyway.
Any time you feel like hating or excluding, that isn’t a function of Jesus. Let’s get rid of those things from our lives.
It`s easy to praise God when things are going well. But we want to be a people who look to God even at the worst. When the storms are raging, let`s look to Him.
"Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children, and walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant sacrificial offering to God." (Verses 1-2)
God, give me peace to weather the storms that will come my way. I trust You to calm them as I look to You.
