Mission Spotlight

At Coquille Christian Community Church, we believe in making a lasting impact, both locally and globally. This month, we are proud to highlight Living Water International, a mission partner that is transforming lives around the world by providing access to safe, clean drinking water in communities where it’s needed most.

Living Water International’s Mission:
Founded in 1990, Living Water International has been at the forefront of efforts to solve the global water crisis. Their mission is simple but profound: to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience the Living Water—Jesus Christ—through evangelism and discipleship.

Why Water Matters:
Globally, millions of people lack access to clean water, leading to diseases, poor health, and lack of education as children often must spend their days walking miles to fetch water. Living Water International seeks to break this cycle by drilling wells, building water purification systems, and teaching communities about hygiene and sanitation.

Impact & Outreach:
Living Water International operates in over 20 countries, providing sustainable water solutions while also sharing the gospel. Each project includes not only physical water but also Living Water—the hope of Jesus Christ. In addition to meeting basic needs, they empower local communities by training residents to maintain the systems, ensuring long-term success.

In recent years, Living Water has:

  • Provided clean drinking water to over 6 million people.
  • Drilled 20,000+ wells in regions like Africa, Central and South America, and South Asia.
  • Reduced waterborne diseases through community health and hygiene education programs.

Get Involved:
You can support Living Water International through prayer, financial contributions, or by joining one of their mission trips to help build water projects. Together, we can make a difference by ensuring every person has access to clean water and the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus.
